Publication of PS-G-17—Provisional specifications for the in situ verification, reverification, installation and use of pressure factor metering installations

Measurement Canada's (MC) requirements for the verification, reverification, installation and use of single meter pressure factor metering (PFM) installations have been divided among a number of different documents, some of which have been in effect for a considerable number of years. To facilitate the application and review of the particular requirements that MC still deems to be applicable, the Agency has consolidated these requirements into a single provisional specifications document. The scope of this document is limited to single meter PFM installations and the document does not include any new requirements.

A joint working group composed of members from the gas industry and MC will be working to review and develop new draft specifications for the in situ verification, reverification, installation and use of single and multiple meter PFM installations. These provisional specifications (PS-G-17) are to be considered applicable until the new specifications are completed and published.
