What is the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)?
Industry classification system that classifies economic units that have similar production processes in the same industry. This is a supply-based or production-oriented economic concept.
As of November 2021, the insolvency statistics by NAICS were removed from the OSB website; however, they still remain available in Excel format on the Government of Canada Open Data Portal.
You can find detailed information on these statistics and more in the Open Data tab.
