In the matter of the cancellation of a trustee licence pursuant to paragraph 13.2(5)(a) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act concerning:

Section 13.2(5) Decision
- This decision is taken based upon consideration of the following:
- The individual LIT suddenly passed away on January 19, 2022, with no succession agreement in place;
- Conservatory Measures relating to the insolvency estates of Ms. Laura Lee Gyldenbjerg and Laura Gyldenbjerg & Associates Inc. were issued on January 26, 2022;
- The Superintendent used the Request for Standing Offer, and resulting Standing Offer Agreements, in effect at that time to select Dodick Landau Inc. as Guardian Trustee at no cost for the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy to complete the administration of the seized estate files and on March 28, 2022, an order was made by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice appointing Dodick Landau Inc., as substitute trustee of estates formerly administered by Laura Gyldenbjerg & Associates Inc. The order also allowed Dodick Landau Inc. to continue to use the name of the former LIT, Laura Gyldenbjerg & Associates Inc., for the limited purpose of administering the former LIT’s trust estate bank accounts and redirecting the mail;
- Paragraph 38 of Directive No. 13R7, Trustee Licensing, states that a corporate LIT shall, at all times and in the district(s) in which it is entitled to act, operate through an individual LIT;
